Foster families wanted

We are looking for foster families who want to join our team as volunteer. Together we help the dogs! We like to be in close contact with our foster families. After all, together we want the best for the dogs and increase their chances for a great future.

In Spain (area Álora) we are looking for foster families who want to temporarily foster a dog or a litter if we receive a request for help and are currently full, or a dog who needs a quiet place after, for example, surgery. Or to foster a dog or litter for a longer period until they are adopted.
– If you cannot bear the cost of food, we will take care of that.
– Vaccination (+ anti-parasitic treatments/chip/passport) will be done at our vet, where we pay a reduced rate as a non-profit foundation.
In the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, we are looking for foster families for emergency fostering & care, for example, when a dog needs to be rehomed. Or foster a (usually adult) dog that is more likely to be adopted directly from a foster family.
– We will ask you to bear the cost of food. If emergency care and you cannot bear the costs, we will take care of that. This also applies to the monthly anti-flea/worm/tick treatment.

Taking care of a rescue dog seems to be a very rosy story, remember that a dog can be anxious, often has to learn everything, might not be toilet-trained, has to learn to be alone, etc. Every dog ​​for which we ask for care is different. When it comes to a dog who comes back to us for whatever reason, or if it concerns a dog that is completely overlooked in interest for adoption in Spain, our question to you is the same:
We are looking for foster families who have experience with dogs, want to offer a dog a safe and loving home, have a great sense of responsibility, and are committed to the foster project. Preferably not working full-time, being flexible, preferably not taking care of young children, being willing to follow given instructions, and above all, giving a lot of love, care, and attention to a dog.
