Álora Dog Rescue

is a registered, non-profit organization that focuses on taking care of and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs in the region of Álora, Málaga, Spain.

We provide food, shelter, love, socialization and veterinary care for dogs that have been a victim of abuse and/or abandonment while we search for a permanent and safe home for them so they can have a second chance to a better life.

Help us help the dogs

We rely entirely on the help of volunteers and donations, as we do not receive any sort of financing from the government.
That’s why we, and especially the dogs, would be very grateful for your help in any way you can!

Why Adopt?

By purchasing a dog from a pet store, chances are that they came from a puppy mill where profit is more important than the welfare of a dog. Puppy mills will continue to exist until people stop supporting them. Stop supporting puppy mills by adopting from proper rescues!

Adopt one, rescue two

Adopting a dog means that their space becomes available for another dog. So technically, you’re saving the lives of (at least) two dogs by adopting one.
